T-Mobile completed its merger with Sprint to overshoot AT&T as the number 2 carrier.

that it had now become the number two carrier in the U.S. The growth was fueled by its merger with Sprint and the absorption of the latter's customers. T-Mobile added 1,245,000 customers which it claimed was the "best in industry" for a total of 98.3 million customers at the end of Q2 2020.

Commenting on the news, Mike Sievert, T-Mobile CEO said:
