T-Mobile is sending out a new firmware update for the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge. Since both handsets have been updated to Android 7.0 Nougat there’s no need to expect a major upgrade. It’s actually just the latest security maintenance release for last year’s flagships that T-Mobile is now rolling out for users on its network.
The minor update weighs in at 51MB and is now live for last year’s flagships on T-Mobile’s network. It brings the for both handsets, the security update includes fixes for dozens of vulnerabilities in Android OS as well as the vulnerabilities that Samsung found in its software.
