Canadian carrier Telus , and it looks like the Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 4 will get in line for the major update starting next month, in addition to the Galaxy Tab S2. An official Telus document has been shared online, with May 2nd listed as the date Marshmallow will start rolling out to the Galaxy S5 and Tab S2 on Telus’ network.
The Galaxy Note 4 will get it two weeks later on May 16th. The document mentions a security update as well, which means the updates should come with at least the April security patches baked in. As always, these dates can change – Telus has already , and it’s possible the carrier could do it again. But it hopefully won’t, as May is already quite late considering Android N is already out in the wild ().
Canadian telco finally posts the update timeline. May 16th is the date!
