If Young's information is accurate, the will be launched sometime early next year. However, it is possible that the Lenovo-owned company will announce the phone in the fourth quarter of the year and begin selling it in the first quarter of 2021. The first-generation was announced in November last year but went on sale in select markets only in February.
The Motorola RAZR 2's main rival will be the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G, which is to debut alongside the series and the Galaxy Fold 2 in August. Unlike the 4G Galaxy Z Flip, which runs on a Snapdragon 855+ processor, the 5G-enabled version of the phone is rumored to have the latest Snapdragon 865 under the hood.
