The , right on schedule, almost exactly a year after the launch of . Keeping with its tradition, OnePlus has launched the phone via an online-only event. Details are light as we're just picking things up as they come through, but here's what we know so far.
Just as expected, the OnePlus 5 has dual cameras on the back — one "main" camera, and a secondary camera with a longer lens and higher resolution. OnePlus is using the tagline "Dual cameras. Clearer photos." throughout its marketing campaign. Now we know that there's a 16MP main camera supported by a 20MP longer-focal-length camera.
We already knew going into the event that the OnePlus 5 has a Snapdragon 835 processor, but now we're also learning about additional specs. There's a familiar 5.5-inch display on the front, using a "standard" 16:9 aspect ratio. Inside there's 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
