It was believed to offer this configuration only in China as most handsets from local manufacturers already offer 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. However, when the Galaxy Note 7 was officially launched in China last week it was confirmed that like all other variants.
The rumor mill is still not over the possibility that a Galaxy Note 7 with 6GB RAM might be unveiled. An image of a purported Galaxy Note 7 box has been leaked online out of China on which the specs of this handset are listed. Sure enough, the specs mention 6GB RAM. This is obviously not a guarantee that the company is going to offer this configuration in China even though it just looks good on paper when compared to handsets from local devices. It’s not like there will be a significant improvement in the device’s performance just because it has more RAM. It really can’t be said for sure right now if and when the with 6GB RAM might be launched in China.
