While the month of January pretty predictably started out slow for game releases, this week is ramping up quite nicely. The latest game to throw their hat into the early January release ring is Tower of Fortune 3, per a . We really liked the , and the so it stands to reason that the third installment will also be a very good game.
If you haven't played any of them, it's basically a dungeon crawler with a slot machine mechanic that powers just about everything. The Tower of Fortune series make really great mobile games as you can play them one handed, and they don't really require a whole lot of attention, making them great for playing a few spins in between doing something else.
The previous games were all very retro Game Boy style monochrome graphics, but it'd appear that they're ramping things up a bit more with the addition of color (!) to round out the Tower of Fortune trilogy. The game is going to launch at $2.99 this week. They're saying Thursday, but that probably means it'll just pop up randomly at some point tomorrow.
