Trying to install the app from the Play Store doesn’t seem to work as well, though, it appears that it’s possible to sideload the app on Verizon’s Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge but whether the service will work at a payment terminal or not remains to be seen. There’s no official word as yet from Verizon explaining why it has chosen to remove the Samsung Pay app from the latest flagships or when users can expect to get the app on their handsets.
