YouTube for iOS gets Slide Over and Split View support on iPad

Google has released an update to the iOS version of the YouTube app. The update finally brings some much needed functionality on the iPad. The update finally adds support for Slide Over and Split View functionality on the iPad. The former, available on iPads as far back as the iPad Air, allows you to run an app in a window on the side over your current app. Split View will let you run the new YouTube app side by side with your current app and you can resize the window size.
