YU Yutopia launch pushed back to December 17

Indian smartphone manufacturer Micromax's subsidiary YU has announced that the launch of its upcoming Yutopia smartphone has been delayed. The device, which was earlier scheduled to be unveiled on December 7, would now be launched on December 17. It's worth mentioning that invites for the December 7 launch event were already sent out. Apparently, the delay is related to a recent Delhi High Court order restraining YU from importing and selling devices that infringe upon Ericsson's patents until it pays royalties to the Swedish firm.
