After about a year, one of the best Apple Arcade exclusives, Bleak Sword , has gotten a major update bringing in a lot of new content. Bleak Sword from Devolver Digital and more8bit featuring music by today brings in the 4.0 update featuring the Castle of Despair (10 new levels), a new boss fight, two new enemies, and new music. The Hunched Knight and tentacle demons are the new enemy additions with 4.0. This update has arrived after about a year since version 3.0 released. Read about that . With every older Apple Arcade game getting a new update, I wonder how long before they are set to release on another platform. We’ve seen many games either get ported recently, or leave Apple Arcade completely to release on console and PC platforms. It remains to be seen if Bleak Sword is seeing a port in the near future, but I hope it does get a physical release once a potential Switch version is out.
