Last night, Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd developer miHoYo announced (via Senior Analyst at Niko Partners) Honkai Star Rail. Honkai Star Rail is a new game in the Honkai Impact series that was revealed. The only official info revealed for Honkai Star Rail so far is the teaser Tweet image that has a large train heading into the space leaving a planet behind. The teaser text is “May This Journey Lead Us Starward". With no information on the gameplay or anything yet, miHoYo did confirm that a closed beta is planned with signups going live this week. Closed beta signups go live on October 8th as mentioned in the Tweet but platforms haven’t been revealed yet. I assume the first closed beta will be on Android or PC only depending on what platforms the game will arrive on first. Consdiering how well Honkai Impact 3rd has been supported, Honkai Star Rail will be one to watch. A confirms that this is a spin-off sequel to Honkai Impact 3rd’s spin-off event APHO. turn based RPG which makes me even more excited for this game.
