Last June, KINGDOM HEARTS DARK ROAD (initially revealed as ) from Square Enix through KINGDOM HEARTS Union X [Cross] as an app update making it home to two full games on iOS and Android. Today, Square Enix that KINGDOM HEARTS UNION Χ[Cross] DARK ROAD which includes both games is shutting down this May. In-game Jewel sales have shut down already. The servers are shutting down by May 30th at 9 PM. Thankfully, there will be an offline version being made available to let players experience the story of KINGDOM HEARTS UNION Χ[Cross] DARK ROAD with just Union Cross being available as a theater mode. Player data will transfer over to the offline version.
The offline version of KINGDOM HEARTS UNION Χ[Cross] DARK ROAD will not be released for the Amazon App Store. Player data will not transfer if the offline version is reinstalled after being deleted or moving to another device.
