Earlier this year, Purple Lamp and THQ Nordic released SpongeBob SquarePants – The Cosmic Shake for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC as a new 3D platformer, and it is considered a spiritual successor to the excellent SpongeBob SquarePants – The Battle for Bikini Bottom. . I skipped it in the hope for a native PS5 release or mobile port. The native PS5 release happened a few weeks ago, and SpongeBob SquarePants – The Cosmic Shake is hitting mobile sooner than I expected. An App Store pre-order page (spotted by Brightsiderus in our Discord) has gone up with a December 12th release date listed. SpongeBob SquarePants – The Cosmic Shake is out now for $39.99 on all platforms. The iOS pre-order is priced at $9.99. . I’m glad I waited because SpongeBob SquarePants – The Cosmic Shake will almost certainly be a better experience on modern iOS devices compared to Switch. I am curious to see how the game on mobile compares with the Steam Deck version though.
