Ever since I started paying attention to the ACA NeoGeo games on Switch many years ago, I’ve been glad that so many games I hadn’t ever heard of, are preserved on modern consoles and more recently mobile. With so many games releasing on the ACA or Arcade Archives lineup, I’ve been buying the ones Shaun recommends if I haven’t heard of them. Hamster and SNK have now brought the 1992-released sports game Football Frenzy to iOS and Android as a premium release. Football Frenzy lets you pick one of 10 teams to compete in a championship with. It aimed to deliver different play patterns and offer realistic games back when it released. It also supports two player versus mode. Football Frenzy, out now, includes the usual features in Hamster’s ACA NeoGeo releases on mobile, and the publisher continues to improve controller support across the releases through updates.
