Just quick announcement, Console Bang, support pages and the email system will be down for a number of hours at certain points over the upcoming weeks.

Email System Maintenance is now complete - Confirmed to be sending and receiving emails correctly.
Console Bang Download System Maintenance is now complete - checked and downloads are working

The other vital features will be up and running during this time.

This is due to essential server upgrades that are required before the middle of May 2020. - UPDATE: WE HAVE NOW COMPLETED ALL THE REQUIRED MAINTENANCE


Completed work:

• Email System, access to staff emails and outgoing emails from Console Bang will be delayed. Either not sending at all or going into spam boxes. We will require manual activation for this period of time. Estimated time: 2 hours - but could take a couple of days to recover - Completed on 24th April 2020 at approx. 1:45 pm GMT. Maintenance and correction were successfully completed.
• Console Bang Downloads, this needs upgrading. You may experience 404 not founds, and possible internal server errors. We estimate this maintenance will take approximately 2 hours - Maintenance and correction were successfully completed.
• Console Bang Support, this will go down separately, but again, the email system will affect this service, so you may find your email disappears. We will let you know when the system goes under, the Support Ticket system will take approximately 2 hours to transfer and upgrade. - We have encountered database issues regarding this and we hope to get this resolved as soon as possible. - Situation update: We have now completed the maintenance on this service and is now up and running as of 01:25 GMT on 26th April 2020. So if you need us, please use the contact us button at the bottom of every webpage, or use our email which is

• Console Bang itself, the whole forum will go offline whilst we transfer everything we need, this will prevent data loss. Estimated time: 2-6 hours. We will redirect our pages to the Console Bang Status page which will show what’s occurring when and where. We did try this in the early hours of Saturday, 25th April 2020 and we encounter problems. We will need to ensure that everything is running smoothly so we can ensure ongoing maintenance of the vital system services. - We completed this on 21st May in the later hours of the night... Everything should be back to normal! This is it for our maintenance for a few months! We hope this has made your Console Bang experience a lot faster and more efficient! Thanks again.

I will be releasing the dates within 24 hours of the required maintenance. I apologise for any inconvenience caused, but this is vital maintenance that has to be done every year to ensure we can keep up to standard!

May Update: this server maintenance has to be done within the upcoming 7 days... We will inform users about 12 hours before scheduled downtime and we expect it to last around 1-2 hours without any complications.
