The new software update carries firmware version S91XU1UES4CXG8. At the moment, it is live for units on AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular, C-Spire, Cellular South, Comcast, Cricket, DISH, MetroPCS, T-Mobile, Tracfone, US Cellular, Verizon, and Xfinity Mobile. Samsung should make it available to other variants of these phones in the next few days.
Go to Settings » Software update » Download and install to manually check for the update that brings the August 2024 security patch on your Galaxy S23. You can also download the new firmware from and then use Odin on a Windows PC to install it manually. Make sure to back up the phone’s data before you do that.
