discovered in the previous software version. It doesn't bring any new user-facing changes or features.

If you have a Galaxy S22 series phone and live in Austria, Croatia, Slovenia, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, the UK, or anywhere else in Europe, you can check for the new update on your phone. You can do that by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our database and flash it manually using the Odin tool. Make sure to back up all your important data before using the manual flashing process.

The Galaxy S22 was launched in early 2022 with Android 12-based One UI 4.1 software onboard. The phones in the lineup received the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update in late 2022 and the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update in late 2023. The phones will get the Android 15-based One UI 7.0 update later this year.

Samsung might also release the One UI 6.1.1-based software update to the Galaxy S22 series in the next few weeks. This update could bring some new Galaxy AI features and other software tweaks and improvements.
