Hello everyone, and welcome to the week! It's time once again for our look back at the noteworthy updates of the last seven days. Business appears to be picking up? Or maybe I'm just noticing more this week in my now-ritual sweeps of the UPDATOSPHERE. It is a dangerous road to walk, fraught with bug fixes and optimization tweaks, I tell you what. Of course, you can keep an eye out for updates yourself using AppShopper Social [], the watchlist in the TouchArcade App [], or by participating in the TouchArcade forums, but this weekly summary is here to fill in the things you might have missed. Attention fans of mapping! Which is everyone, I should hope. Anyway, attention everyone! This update adds the ability to make notes on your in-game map, which is a pretty great thing if you ask me. You can use colors and make comments and all kinds of things to help you avoid carrying around a pad of graph paper, a notebook, and/or a fully-functional computer with a copy of Microsoft Excel installed. This update also takes a NERF brand bat to the difficulty of some early fights, adds a couple of arenas, throws in two really hard achievements with commensurate rewards for completing them, and some more stats in the character creation sorting screen. More stats!
Aww, friends. Rocketcat went and added MFi controller support to Death Road to Canada. Why do they do such nice things? Because of you! Yes, you! Fourth comment down at the bottom, I have it on authority that Kepa put this in the game just for you. I hope you enjoy it, and understand the grave responsibility that comes with the great power of consumption. So prop up your device (if it's a phone, the 3DS Kid Icarus Uprising stand works nicely), pair that controller, and head to Canada... BY BUTTONS.
If your game has a bunny, you pretty much have to do an Easter thing. I didn't make this rule, but I will assuredly enforce it. Except if your bunny is Bugs Bunny, because he's grandfathered out of such clauses. Union rules, you know. It's all very complicated. But King Rabbit? No, I'm afraid even his royal position can't get him out of this one. So, more colorful skins to celebrate Easter, along with some gee-whiz particle effects. Get 100% diamonds and it gets even prettier. I suppose that will do, RareSloth.
Fi-ire Emblem, got itself an upda-ate, staaaamina caaaap has been raaaaaised, to ninetyyyy-niiiiine. Fi-ire Emblem, now you can swap un-its, arr-ange your heroes before, they have to fiiiiight. Check out the new, Sacred Seals and the, improved XP gains, ennn-joy, the new matchmaking, and other improvements! That was a song. It fits the old Japanese commercial jingle, and I guess that weird English version that plays on the title screen of this game. Feel free to try out those hot lyrics or make up some of your own. Alright, bear with me. I haven't played this one yet. I don't have the time to get sucked into another NimbleBit game, you see. Uh, so it says here there are eight brand new cities, and then it says they are OUT OF THIS WORLD, all in capital letters like that. Maybe something space? That sounds kind of neat. Or maybe NimbleBit writes their update notes like letterers in American comics, just randomly bolding words willy-nilly for no discernible reason. If there's no space, I'm sorry. It was just a guess. The only other thing here worth mentioning is that nearby car coins are now collected together, and that sounds... desirable? Maybe? Gee, way to blow it, Shaun.
This looks like a golf game but it's really more a platforming dealie. That means an update that adds some new levels is a very good thing. More levels is always a good feature, unless the game is bad. Which Golf Zero is not. Anyway, these three new levels are speed run levels. Do your best to set a good time and see how bad you are by checking the leaderboards, unless you are AndyC83. If you are AndyC83, congratulations on first place. Wow, you really did that thing fast this time, hunh? Ha ha, we have a lot of fun around here, don't we?

Thup-thup! Meep meep! Yes, the Road Runner's back as a playable character in the latest episode of Looney Tunes Dash. Um, so yeah. The coyote's after you. If he catches you you're through. Okay, so I was looking at the lyrics for the Road Runner Show as a reference point, and I see this line that says 'poor little Road Runner never bothers anyone', and I really, really disagree with that. I'm not going to say that Wile E. Coyote is blameless. In fact, he is largely to blame for most of his problems. But I think we can all agree that the Road Runner frequently goads him on, and as such, I'm not sure that we should be asserting that he NEVER bothers anyone, especially set to a catchy melody. Let's lyric responsibly, friends.
Oh my stars and garters. It's...it's beautiful. Bebop and Rocksteady have donned shocking BUNNY outfits for Easter. Like... Bebop is in a pink bunny suit with bunny ears and everything. This is majestic. I need a sit-down. Uh anyway, you can recruit them and... B.U.N.N.I.E.S? To fight the Turtles? What is going on in this game? This update also includes three new battle challenges, like you need any other selling point beyond the words 'Recruit Bunny Rocksteady and Bunny Bebop' to get someone to download this.
When Lara Croft GO made its way to other platforms a while back, it got an extra expansion called Mirror of Spirits. Mobile fans of the game have been waiting patiently for that expansion to come to iOS, and it's finally here. Twenty-five new puzzles that make use of three new mechanics are here to see if you can step up to the challenge. I know this is a pretty ordinary paragraph compared to the others this week, but that's just how it goes sometimes.
Just as I have Avengers Academy, so too does Eric Ford have Disney Magic Kingdoms. We all have our vices, friends. At any rate, Disney is responsible for introducing a lot of Western customs and traditions around the world. Somehow. That means even their game isn't going to miss a chance to get in on the Easter stuff. Mickey and his friends have some season-appropriate attire, and you can now upgrade Merlin to level 2 to unlock a new spell. I'm not joking, by the way. Disney made Halloween a thing in Japan, and they're now in the process of doing the same for Easter. It's remarkable to behold. I heard they even had a lot to do with Christmas becoming popular here.
Hey, it's another big update for Plague Inc. and I'm all out of weird things to say. This update adds custom scenarios to the game, which is a pretty huge deal. That means its considerable userbase can now provide new content. You'll need a separate app to create scenarios, but you can play the fruits of everyone's efforts right here in the main game. I guess if you want to make your own, you're meant to hop between the two apps to create and test? I'm not sure how it works, but I know this game has a really dedicated following who are surely working out the ins and outs as I type this.
Let's wrap things up with this Easter update for Fallout Shelter. No, it won't let you raise a Vault Dweller from the dead or anything like that. But you can get a new legendary pet in this event, and that's almost as cool? The developers have also put all of the bundles on sale if you're looking to spread some wealth around. And by that, I mean put it into the pockets of a mega-corporation. But they're a mega-corporation that is probably working on some really cool games, so I think it's okay?
