. New industry insight suggests the Seoul-based tech giant has all but finalized its foldable device roadmap for the next 12 months. Furthermore, its home country of South Korea is likely to remain the largest foldable handset market in the world come next year.

That’s all according to the latest industry report from Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC). The consultancy group that accurately predicted the display specifications of several Samsung flagships released this year shared its latest insight at a recently concluded virtual conference for corporate clients.

These third-generation foldable smartphones are also said to be more affordable than their direct predecessors. As for the third, novel addition to the Galaxy Z family, DSCC said a device with a rollable display may be on the cards. We recently caught a possible glimpse of one such device, though previous reports indicated Samsung is pursuing a smartphone with a stretchable screen instead of a rollable one.
