Morphite first hit the App Store in late September, and like most Crescent Moon games, . We awarded it and in expand on what makes Morphite so special. In a nutshell, it's a pocket-sized space exploration game that's kinda-sorta similar to No Man's Sky. As rad as the game is, it's primarily controlled using a set of virtual joysticks to handle all your first person movement and camera positioning. Even the best virtual joysticks in these games never feel that ideal, making using a MFi controller the idea way to play in my eyes.
But what if you don't have a MFi controller and do have a Nintendo Switch? Or just prefer playing stuff on the Switch lately? Well, Morphite is now available on the Nintendo eShop with one (significant) caveat: It'll cost you almost twice as much as it does on mobile. The Switch version of the game is currently selling for $14.99 versus eight bucks on iOS. (I totally think the game is totally worth $15, and in a different world would also be priced that way on mobile.)
It's been really cool seeing so much indie stuff on the Switch, and while everyone who owns the console is probably busy plowing through Super Mario Odyssey, Morphite is another great pick up for the console. Or, hell, save some cash and grab it on mobile. It's a great game regardless of where you play it.
