app, provides Galaxy smartphones and tablets with additional options for customizing the home screen, app drawer, multitasking menu, and share menu. One of the options lets you change the grid size of folders on the home screen. Unfortunately, some people have been facing issues with it.

, when they use Home Up and change the grid size for folders on the home screen to 4×4 and restart the device, the grid size automatically changes to 3×3.

A moderator on the forum replied to the user saying that Samsung would need system log data from the device to diagnose the issue. If you have been facing the same problem, you can help the company solve it by sharing the system log data with it.

To do that, go to Samsung Members » Support » Send feedback » Error Reports, choose the error type and frequency, write a description of the issue, attach images or videos you might have of it, tick ‘Send system log data,’ and hit ‘Send.

, we used Home Up to change the grid layout of folders on the home screen, restarted the phone, and found that the device retained the layout. So, the issue the user reported is not present on this model. Other phones, however, could have it.
