One of my favorite things about GDC is the incredibly varied people we meet, building all sorts of different games with infinitely varied studio setups. When , aside from being a pretty neat game, what was fascinating about it is it's a family project. Nicole Stark, her husband, and their four daughters put this game together in Unity. Additionally, it's been in development long enough that the original Mikey Shorts [] served as the inspiration for the game's controls. Check out the demo from GDC:
Late last year that the game was "getting close to release," but it'd take another few months to get their. Per an mail we got, Ninja Pizza Girl will be available on the App Store on the 27th, allowing this post to successfully evade all the puns that games releasing on 4/20 have been subjected to.
It'll be fun seeing how much the game has evolved since we saw it last. The game is and has seen very favorable reviews, so we should be in for a treat in a couple weeks.
