News Fortnite was the Most Downloaded Free Game on PlayStation in May

PlayStation has revealed lists of the most downloaded games for May 2023. According to the data, Fortnite was the most downloaded free-to-play game in the US and Canada, and the second in the EU.

For the third month in a row, Fortnite was downloaded more than any other free game in the US and Canada, beating Warzone 2.0, Fall Guys, Apex Legends and Rocket League. The EU saw Trackmania overtake Fortnite in downloads, but this is because the game, which was previously PC-exclusive, launched on consoles the first time in May. The recent launch of Chapter 4 Season 3 will have increased Fortnite's downloads this month, but we'll have to wait until July to see the data.
