First reports about the arrival of One UI 2.1 to the Galaxy S9 series appeared just moments ago, and it’s to be presumed the rollout won’t be fully completed until early next month. As a reminder, its custom build of has already been available on a national level for some time now.
The specific device models eligible for the update are the SM-G960U and SM-G965U, which would be the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ designated for T-Mobile’s network, respectively.

This OTA is essentially the Galaxy S9 line’s software swan song as it’s highly unlikely Samsung will be optimizing its upcoming Android 11 implementation for its 2018 flagships or giving them the update.
