Two weeks ago Samsung revealed that the Titanium will go on on September 18. Today the company made a couple of new announcements regarding the availability of the Galaxy Watch 3 Titanium in other markets, and it looks like customers in the will have to wait a little longer than prospective buyers in Europe .
Despite the Galaxy Watch 3 Titanium being planned for release on September 18 in most markets, the limited edition smartwatch won’t be available stateside before October 2. Once it will hit the shelves on that date, the Galaxy Watch 3 Titanium will be available in Mystic Black through Samsung.com and major retailers.
The Galaxy Watch 3 Titanium costs $599
Samsung that the Galaxy Watch 3 Titanium will be available only with a 45mm dial, i.e., a 1.2-inch display, for the price of $599. However, the company hasn’t been very clear as to whether the titanium variant has LTE connectivity or if it’s limited to Wi-Fi.
Either way, the Galaxy Watch 3 Titanium is virtually identical to the standard 45mm model aside from sporting a stainless steel strap and a lighter titanium body that brings the wearable’s weight down from 53.8 to 43 grams. Spec-wise, it’s the same Exynos 9110-powered smartwatch with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, Tizen OS 5.5 out of the box, MIL-STD-810G / IP68 ratings, and VO2 max/SpO2 monitoring.
Because the standard and titanium models are essentially the same except for the different choice of materials, our existing should give you a clear-enough idea of the user experience, but it’s up to you to decide if the titanium chassis and metal strap are worth the higher price.
