She added that the brand would launch the store as a website rather than an app.
Well, with two days to go before the deadline, Microsoft made the webpage for the Xbox Mobile Store . Unfortunately, it isn’t functional yet. That being said, it strongly suggests that the company could launch the app distribution platform any moment now.
The webpage says “Coming Soon” followed by “Thank you for participating in the Xbox Insiders program. As part of our testing process, you have been placed in a holdback group and currently do not have access to this feature. Your support is invaluable to us, and we ask for your patience as we prepare for the public release. Stay connected with Xbox for further updates.”
