Huawei Mate 40 announcement event officially scheduled for October 22

Richard Yu, Huawei Consumer Business CEO and Huawei Executive Director, took to Weibo to announce that the global launch event for the Huawei Mate 40 family of devices will be held on October 22 at 14:00 CEDT. Besides a poster, shared by Mr. Yu, we also have a very short announcement teaser clip that incorporates and eye/iris. Not much to really go on, nor necessarily a hint for what is to come.
