It's been just over a week since Motorola started pushing the Android 6.0 update to , so by now there's a decent number of you Pure Edition users enjoying all of the benefits of . This means it's time to check in and see how Motorola did delivering this update, and how you as users are enjoying the experience so far.
Anyone who lived through the Android 5.0 update on the and continued to suffer until things were fixed in the significantly delayed Android 5.1 update knows that occasionally these updates don't always go as planned. At the same time, one of the things that separates Motorola from the other manufacturers is the way most of their core apps and services are delivered through the Play Store so the big focus for this update is the underlying OS and not a ton of new features. This update is all about Doze, Now on Tap, and the star of the show — app permissions.
