For smartwatch lovers, Samsung is adding the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra to its merry band of Wear OS-powered watches. And it appears the company is cutting it close with all the certifications it needs to start selling the new devices.
This week, Samsung was (3C) in, well, China. As always, 3C lists some charging information for the upcoming devices, and this information contradicts .
The FCC listed the Galaxy Watch 7 with 15W charging support, while the 3C tests were carried out using a 10W charger. This doesn't mean the FCC was wrong. Rather, it suggests that the 15W charger could be an optional purchase and the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra will come with the old 10W charger in the box.
