Why go outside in the cold weather when you can stay inside and play video games? Live out some of your favourite Disney and Pixar fantasies in Kingdom Hearts III, explore the galaxy in Genesis Alpha One or pick up Fractured Minds, which may change your perspective on mental health.
Whether you want to kick some butt or embark on an emotional adventure, the full list of new releases below is sure to have something for you.
1. Kingdom Hearts III
It’s time to reunite with Sora, Donald and Goofy for an action-packed new Disney-infused adventure from Square Enix. Collect unique Keyblades as you travel across vibrant landscapes to fight off the Heartless invasion alongside your favourite heroes from Toy Story, Big Hero 6, Tangled, Monsters Inc and many more.
Step into the spacesuit of a starship captain on a mission to find a new home for humankind in Radiation Blue’s roguelike FPS. Explore a randomly generated universe as you manage a space vessel, clone crew members, farm resources and fight off alien infestations. You only have to save humanity from extinction. No pressure.
This narrative-driven adventure by Polygonal Wolf puts you in the shoes of a high school boy suffering from depression. Journey through beautiful low-poly environments as you explore a story with multiple endings to discover. This one might stick with you for a while.
1. Tom Clancy’s The Division 2
Washington D.C. is on the brink of ruin, and you’re its last line of defence in Ubisoft’s open-world RPG shooter. The Division 2’s D.C. is a 1:1 representation of the real city, so if you’ve never had the chance to visit, do some sightseeing while you’re at it. Just try not to get killed…
If you pre-order, you’ll also get access to the private beta which runs from 7th to 11th February.
