and I’m sure the game is going to be an unforgettable adventure for you who will play it.

Today, I’ve been given the chance to talk about the different editions of Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom that we’ve been creating for our European players. We have spent weeks gathering magical energy and condensing it to create the Prince’s and the King’s Editions.

In the Prince’s Edition, you will find the full game (no kidding), a superb steelbook case, and the Season Pass that will grant you access to two expansions of the game as soon as they are released.

This Prince’s Edition also comes with The Kingmakers, a ‘making-of’ Blu-ray disc that features interviews with Level-5 CEO and game director Akihiro Hino; the former Studio Ghibli animator Yoshiyuki Momose and the anime legendary composer Joe Hisaishi. This talented team – as well as many people from Level-5 - have already worked on the original Ni No Kuni to achieve the huge success most PlayStation 3 players know… or should know.

We also prepared a Digital Prince’s Edition featuring the game + Season Pass bundle which is also available on PlayStation Store for those of you who prefer to keep it 100% digital.

And now, hail to the king!

Dear hardcore fans of Ni No Kuni, we have prepared what we hope will be the collector’s edition of your dream with the very limited King’s Edition.

Imagine a beautifully illustrated big box, wrapped in an original artwork and filled with everything from the Prince’s Edition, and on top of that The Art of Ni No Kuni, a 148-page hardcover artbook featuring drawings, artworks and concept arts from both Momose-san and Level-5, and as a crowning final piece, add an 11″ vinyl record, The Themes of Ni No Kuni, featuring the game’s main theme composed by Hisaishi-san and wrapped in an exclusive gatefold that reveals a pop-up artwork.

Then you look closely at the visual above and say, ‘but where is the king?’ and at the same time, a crystalline tune reaches your ears as an introduction to reveal The Evolution of a King, a 20cm-tall rotating music-box that plays the game’s main theme and presents two iconic scenes from the story of King Evan.

I’m personally very proud of the music box we created together with Level-5 because it perfectly depicts the rags to riches road that Evan follows along the game story. I can’t wait to read your comments about it, and I secretly hope that you’ll love it as much as I do!

This presentation of the editions of Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t mention the Standard edition, available for pre-order at your favourite retailer or straight from PlayStation Store.

Talking about the pre-order, don’t forget that if you place yours with participating retailers – including the digital edition at PlayStation Store - you will receive a special swords set to help Evan and Roland in their quest.

We hope you’re excited about these editions and please let us know your opinion in the comments.

Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will launch 19th January 2018 with both English and Japanese voice-over and subtitles available in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Russian.
