Out of all of Square Enix’s free to play games in Japan, I’ve been looking forward to getting a global release more than all the others because of the music and character designs. After the game was initially revealed for Japan, Square Enix that the global release would include English voice acting when it arrived at a later date. NieR Re[in]carnation has been developed by Applibot featuring designs by and music by Keiichi Okabe (NieR). It released in Japan a few months ago and has had some interesting collaborations. The newest of these collaborations is with (PS3) which is another game I hope gets ported to modern consoles. Over the weeekend, Square Enix revealed that the initial localization for NieR Re[in]carnation‘s English release has been completed. A short clip of the English version was also shared. Check it out below:
In addition to confirming that the initial localization for NieR Re[in]carnation is complete, the through the official Twitter account revealed that final adjustments are being made in preparation for the upcoming pre-registration. Hopefully we get a release date soon. I thought NieR Re[in]carnation would release in the West alongside the excellent NieR Replicant that just released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC platforms but I was wrong. The NieR Re[in]carnation original soundtrack also recently released in Japan. Hopefully we don’t need to wait too long for the global version. If you’d like to try out the Japanese version until then, it is available on for Android and on the App Store for iOS in Japan. Before the NieR Re[in]carnation‘s English release, you can also check out and read my interview with Yoko Taro . Are you going to try the Japanese version of NieR Re[in]carnation or are you still waiting for the English release?
In the meantime, here's a sneak peek at the English version of NieR Re[in]carnation!
This is just a small part of what we can share with you, but we plan to announce more information as it becomes available, so please look forward to it!
