Description:
OpenedFilesView displays a list all open files in the system. Additional information is available for each open file: the value of the handle, read/write/delete access, file position, associated process, and so on.
Additional Information:
OpenedFilesView is a utility that is especially useful for deleting, moving, and opening files when receiving the following system notifications:
• Unable to delete [file name]. The source or file can be used.
• Cannot delete [file name]. The file is being used by another program or user. Close programs that may be using the file and try again.
When you receive this message, OpenedFilesView will show which process has locked your file. Terminating the associated process will unlock the file and resolve the issue.
• Optionally, the user can free the file by completing its descriptors. Keep in mind that using this method may lead to instability of the programs used by the file and system crashes.
