Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 features​


Coming to the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, it is made on a 4nm fabrication process and features one Prime core clocked at up to 2.5GHz, three performance cores clocked at up to 2.4GHz, and four efficiency cores clocked at up to 1.8GHz. Qualcomm hasn’t provided any details about the GPU. According to the company, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 offers 20% faster CPU performance, 40% faster GPU performance, 30% better AI performance, and 12% lower power consumption compared to the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2.

The new chipset can drive a display with FHD+ resolution at up to 144Hz. It supports up to 16GB RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The ISP can handle 200MP photos and 4K HDR videos. Connectivity options include 5G mmWave and Sub-6GHz, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4 with aptX Lossless Audio, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDoU, Galileo, QZSS, and NavIC. Samsung won't be the only brand using this SoC. Qualcomm says that Realme, Sharp, and Xiaomi will also launch devices with the new chipset.
