Earlier this year, Samsung that it is working on an “XR device” and that it will be launched in the future. However, the company until now. At today's Galaxy Unpacked event, the South Korean firm revealed that its XR headset is coming this year.
The company didn't reveal whether it will just showcase the XR device this year or actually launch it. However, we expect the company to at least showcase the device before the end of this year and probably launch it sometime early next year, likely alongside the in the first quarter of 2025.

The XR headset could also use two from Samsung Display's subsidiary firm eMagin. It will likely be a high-end device and work with Galaxy smartphones (and probably laptops). However, it remains to be seen if Samsung pits it directly against the .
