Since the Dimensity 9400 chip is MediaTek's current flagship chip, using it next year in the Galaxy S25 FE would be cost-effective for Samsung. Moreover, the chip will likely offer flagship-grade performance, similar to the Snapdragon 8 Elite. So, getting flagship performance and seven major Android OS updates at a price tag of $649 (or even lower after a few months) could be a great deal for consumers.

, Samsung will likely use the same chip in the Galaxy S25 FE. It has one Cortex-X925 CPU core, three Cortex-X4 CPU cores, and four Cortex-A720 CPU cores. It is a 3nm chip fabricated by TSMC, and it promises to offer long battery life.

The Galaxy S25 FE will reportedly have a 6.7-inch screen, similar to the Galaxy S24 FE. However, the phone is said to feature thinner bezels and a thinner body. The device will likely have a triple-camera setup and run Android 15 out of the box. Since the Galaxy S24 FE will get seven Android OS Updates, the Galaxy S25 FE could also follow the same strategy.
