Galaxy A56 has 45W fast charging capability

The Galaxy A56, which hasn't been announced yet, was

in the China Compulsory Certificate (CCC) database. It has the model number SM-A5660 (Chinese variant of Galaxy A56). Its CCC certification reveals that it can charge at a maximum of 10V and 4.5A, making its maximum compatible wattage 45W.

In comparison, the Galaxy A55 only features 25W fast charging. Even the base Galaxy S24 features 25W fast charging. So, the Galaxy A56 can charge faster than even the Galaxy S24.

and Galaxy M series, which are usually launched only in China, India, and other Asian countries. The Galaxy A56 will be the first Galaxy A series phone to feature 45W fast charging.

Previous reports have indicated that the Galaxy A56 uses the

chip that features an octa-core CPU with one Cortex-A720 core clocked at 2.9GHz, three Cortex-A720 cores clocked at 2.6GHz, and four Cortex-A520 cores running at 1.95GHz. Its Xclipse 540 GPU uses two RDNA3 Work Group Processors (WGPs).

Its brand-new chip and 45W fast charging should make the Galaxy A56 a pretty compelling upgrade to Galaxy A52, Galaxy A53, and Galaxy A54 users.
