has its new WindFree and Cassette ACs in India. These new feature a chilled water-based cooling system that offers a superior cooling experience without the discomfort of direct cold air.
The new Cassette and WindFree ACs from Samsung are connected to a Central Chilled Water System using water pipes and associated vents. The Central Chilled Water System units can be used with Samsung's air-cooled chillers or third-party air-cooled/water-cooled chillers. These ACs are better suited for large spaces such as offices.
This new lineup includes a 1 Way Cassette AC (2.6KW~ 4.2KW), a 4 Way Cassette (6.0KW~10.0KW), and a 360° Chilled Water Cassette AC (6.0KW~10.0KW). The WindFree models in the lineup can disperse air through 15,000 micro-air holes at a wind speed of up to 0.15m/sec. They generate only 24db(A) of sound in their quietest mode.
The 1 Way Cassette AC is designed to quickly cool or heat large areas. It features a large blade and auto swing feature. In addition to its slim design, it blends in with all types of interiors.
The 4-Way Cassette AC has a large blade and can deliver conditioned air to precisely the spot of the room that you want. The 360° Chilled Water Cassette AC has a circular design that may match well with modern interiors. It spreads air without a direct draft. Since it doesn't have any blades to block the airflow, it can spread 25% more air and spread it at farther spots.
These new ACs are available for purchase through Samsung.com and Samsung-authorized retailers across India. The smallest capacity unit costs INR 35,000 (~$418).
Vipin Agrawal, Senior Director, SAC Business, Samsung India, said, “At Samsung our objective is to provide convenience and durability to end users through our cutting-edge product offerings. The Chilled Water Fan Coil units provide superior cooling at a faster pace while operating quietly. The cooling units are most appropriate for large spaces and our endeavor is to make airflow systems more advanced, soothing and accessible.“
