According to TraQline, in 2023, Samsung was the largest home appliances brand by unit share split. The South Korean tech giant had a market share of 19%, which was followed by General Electric (GE), LG, and Whirlpool, who had a market share of 17%, 16%, and 16% respectively.
The firm also says that last year, Samsung was also the biggest home appliances brand by dollar unit share, having a market share of 21%. It was followed by LG, General Electric (GE), and Whirlpool who had a market share of 19%, 18%, and 15% respectively. That’s not all though.
According to TraQline, Samsung was also the brand people considered the most when buying home appliances, with a consideration rate of 32%. LG, General Electric (GE), and Whirlpool came in second, third, and fourth, with consideration rates of 29%, 28%, and 28% respectively.
Samsung recently launched a new lineup of Bespoke AI home appliances, including the Bespoke 4-Door Flex and Jet Bot Combo, which pack many new and useful features. These products should give Samsung a further boost in the market, helping it to retain its number one position.
