4:33 Creative Lab, aka Four Thirty Three, makers of last year's hack 'n slash RPG Blade: Sword of Elysion [], have unveiled their next mobile project, a graphically rich side-scrolling strategy defense game called Seven Guardians. It's one of those side-scrolling castle defense games where you're spawning different warriors onto the battlefield in an attempt to overtake the enemies in your path and ultimately destroy their base. The title of the game refers to the seven types of classes in the game–Warrior, Rogue, Archer, Defender, Wizard, Golem and Warlord–which are shown in the following trailer for Seven Guardians.
While we've seen this type of game on mobile before, what sticks out to me the most in Seven Guardians are the amazing character designs. It's typical fantasy stuff, but done really well, and I especially like how massive some of the characters are. Also, the fact that you get to follow your troops into battle in one of a variety of awesome tanks that you get to control is pretty awesome too. In addition to a single-player campaign, Seven Guardians will include online multiplayer for PvP and Guild Raids.
