], has a new game in the works called Sudoku Sweeper, and if you're thinking "that sounds like a cross between sudoku and Minesweeper," well, you're exactly right! What you're given is a board that is populated with several different colors on grids of different sizes. Each color space has one mine in it. Meanwhile, each row and column has numbers equivalent to one fewer than the number of zones in that row or column, also containing one bomb. Using that information and several pre-revealed squares, you have to use that information to figure out where the bombs are, with the flag being planted when you uncover where the bomb is, based on the row, column, or color section being filled.

Sudoku Sweeper gets complicated really quickly, because the larger grids make you start to think a lot. you also have to try and win 3 games in a row on the same grid in Chilled mode to advance to a larger grid size. Meanwhile, Challenge mode expands over time, but it also throws a timer at you to contend with. This is a bedeviling but clever little game, and you'll be able to check it out on the App Store and Google Play on April 27th.
