A week ago, to fantastic retro-style platformer Super Phantom Cat [ / ] that included the text "Super Phantom Cat 2 will be issued on App Store in [a] few days!" which led us to wonder if that few days meant it was coming sometime in the very near future or if it meant literally in a few days. Well, now we have our answer as developer Veewo Games have officially announced Super Phantom Cat 2 with a new teaser trailer and news that the game is set to arrive on iOS at some point in August. A little more than a FEW days, but still really close, so I'll let it slide! Check out the awesome new trailer.
This new entry in the Super Phantom Cat series will see main protagonist Ari trying to rescue his little sister Ina after she is kidnapped by a mysterious gang. It'll launch with four new chapters each with seven unique levels, more than 20 playable characters, and new enemies and obstacles to overcome. Ari will also be equipped with hidden "Penta Phantom Powers" that will let him do things like grow vines to scale walls or tie up monsters, blink to zoom between objects, freeze monsters with an ice ability, smash certain objects, and even a resizing power that lets him change the size of monsters. While no specific date has been set, Super Phantom Cat is scheduled to arrive in next month, and in the meantime you can to get a head's up when it arrives.
