'The Walking Dead: Match to War' First Gameplay Trailer Shows Off Cool Visuals

Disruptor Beam's The Walking Dead: March to War has been in development for quite some time, and it has even soft launched in some territories. Today, we got to see a gameplay trailer for the first time, and I have to say that I like the game's visual style. The Walking Dead: March to War, in case you haven't read any of our previous stories on it, is a strategic multiplayer war game (as its developers call it) that has you building up a base alongside other players, recruiting and leveling up survivors and council members (the latter being characters from the comic and the TV show), and fighting against other communities.

As you can see from the trailer, each of the survivors has a name and specific skills, and the developers hope that by turning them into individuals rather than a faceless mob, you'll care more about them (and feel bad when they die). Early on you'll try to survive, then you join a community—which helps you take on bigger walker swarms—and then you start looking at grabbing some landmarks (places like the Pentagon, the White House) for some big bonuses, although you won't be the only want trying to grab those.
