The intensity of the frontline is brought to PS4 this week as F2P military-styled shooter Warface releases. There’s a strong flexibility to its gameplay modes one would expect in today’s multiplayer market: quick missions to full-scale raids. PvE or PvP. Grab a squad and deploy!
This tough platformer was built specifically for those you who actively embrace the sweet pain of perma-death and relish rock-hard battles. With multiple classes and talent trees to test, and bosses so big you can only see their feet, Death’s Gambit is designed to scratch that very specific itch.
An adventure with an (undead) soul and a soundtrack that’d have corpses clapping. Play as a now-deceased band manager framed for a crime he didn’t commit. Use your ghostly ability to body-hop across a town of horror-themed fiends to find a way to escape your imprisonment.
5. Divinity: Original Sin 2
There are many reasons to check out this gorgeous RPG. One is that it’s one of the most critically-acclaimed genre entries in many years. Another is its fantastic storytelling with deep characterisation from its entire cast. And another is that if you pre-order, you can start playing the game’s first act immediately.
