FIFA 19 avoided trigger-happy soldiers, world-weary cowboys and axe-wielding gods to secure the end of year top spot as the most downloaded game on PS4’s digital storefront in 2018.
Black Ops 4, Red Dead Redemption 2 and God of War followed close behind, with a handful of older releases, including Grand Theft Auto V, Gang Beasts, Rocket League and Need for Speed: Payback also holding firm in the top 20.
On PlayStation VR, rhythm action slasher Beat Saber topped a strong year for the platform, with Astro Bot Rescue Mission, Moss and Firewall: Zero Hour also making their mark on the download chart.
