Back then, the two companies said that they would roll out the support for Tesla’s products into Samsung’s SmartThings platform in the second quarter of this year. Well, that’s finally happening.
has that you can now add Tesla’s Solar Inverter, Powerwall, and Wall Connector into the SmartThings app in the United States. This will allow you to monitor and control the production, storage, and usage of energy from and by Tesla’s products from Samsung’s SmartThings app.
Additionally, Samsung’s SmartThings app can leverage the Tesla app’s Storm Watch feature to not only notify you about severe weather conditions that can cause power outages so that you can be better prepared for them but also act on those notifications to perform certain actions automatically to prepare your home for power outages, such as charging the Powerwall.

You can also create automation for Tesla’s products in the SmartThings app. To use Tesla’s products with SmartThings, download the latest versions of the Tesla and the SmartThings apps and follow the instructions provided by Samsung on this . This integration should arrive in other regions soon.
