When I saw this game on Twitter earlier today, the title immediately made me smile and I figured I'd give it a download thinking it was (like a lot of free silly mobile games) going to be pretty one-dimensional with a lot of what made the game fun or unique being tied up in the title and theme. And... I'm really sort of taken aback by how much is going on in Gunman Taco Truck []. The trailer perfectly sets the scene of the delightfully absurd (and not that far fetched, given the last three weeks) premise where nukes have launched, most people and animals are mutated, and you're taking your family taco truck to Canada.
Turns out even though the game totally feels like a mobile title, it a couple weeks ago. In Gunman Taco Truck the core gameplay loop involves making tacos, driving your truck to the next stop and shooting everything you can on the way, the things you shoot turn into ingredients, money, and materials to upgrade your truck, which you then use when you make it to your next destination.
