Back in June, the 5v5 free to start MOBA for iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch. Pokemon Unite follows the initial announcement that made when they confirmed that both companies are working together on a game. Since the reveal of Pokemon Unite with some gameplay, Pokemon fans have been wondering what to expect from the game and when it will release. Today, we get a bit closer to it releasing with the announcement of a regional beta for Canada. Pokemon Unite isn’t a traditional MOBA and it seems like it brings in various mechanics from Pokemon games to a MOBA gameplay style. Pokemon Unite is being developed by Tencent’s Timi Studio (). The Pokemon Unite regional beta test is for Canada only and is Android only. You can sign up on Google Play to get a chance to try it out but you require an Android device with 3GB RAM or more and Android 5.0 or later. Progress from the Pokemon Unite regional beta will be reset once the beta is finished. A release date for the beta hasn’t been announced. Hopefully the game does ship this year across all platforms.
