Originally announced in , Shining Force: Heroes of Light and Darkness from Hive (under the Korean company Vespa) is no longer in development (via and ). Shining Force: Heroes of Light and Darkness was an officially licensed new entry in SEGA’s series aiming to bring the fun of tactical RPGs to mobile. Shining Force: Heroes of Light and Darkness has new protagonists and features some returning characters from the series.
